EmbryoAssist™ is for culture of embryos up to the 4-8 cell stage (Day 2 or 3 after
insemination). EmbryoAssist™ can also be used for fertilisation.
Background
EmbryoAssist™ is a fresh formulation of nutrients, several vitamins, and
amino acids.
Along with EDTA, the composition optimises metabolic funtion and protects the embryo
from oxidative stress.
A stable form of the amino acid Glutamine has been included in EmbryoAssist™. This
reduces the risk of ammonia formation in the medium and prolongs the shelf life
of EmbryoAssist™.
